I believe it should leave on the stack the numbers 5, 6, 7; but it’s hard to say, because I don’t know what i, [:, ;], ', ., iter are.

Close - it prints 5 6 7 to the console. i is the loop variable, [: begins a quotation (or lambda, whatever you want to call it), ;] ends a quotation, ' takes the name of a word (a function/procedure, in Forth-speak) and gives its execution token, and iter is specific to zeptoscript and iterates over a sequence or slice and applies the provided execution token to each element.

Last Master's student defended his thesis yesterday (with a very high mark: 9.5/10, which is very high by Dutch standards), and the paper that said student is a co-author on (along with two of my other M.Sc. students) also just got accepted! (Still a bit until it goes online.) Very happy with this outcome and development.

Also got to see a former professor from my Master's as well a friend on Wednesday I'd not seen in eight years, and that was quite nice!

To answer both at once: I’ve only been here one day, but so far I’m liking it a lot. It’s far more built-up than Sydney, but the buildings are much prettier.

(Also, re Ares Land: ‘there’? I got the impression that you live in Paris yourself…)

I think he mentioned a while ago that he was moving somewhere else, which was part of why he didn't post much for a while.

Oh, I had no idea! Hope that all went well, if that was indeed the case.

As Raphael said, I moved to Southern France last July, though I lived in Paris for close to twenty years (so if you ever need any advice, feel free to ask.)

Cranked the numbers and I've been a member of ZBB Extended Universe for 18 years now :D makes me very happy to reflect on 13 y/o me joining at the time, finding this strange wonderful community, and how I've grown personally and conlangartisticly since then
Deep in the human unconscious is a pervasive need for a logical universe that makes sense. But the real universe is always one step beyond logic.
