3rd day of digging, I found my first artifact, a tertiary flake made of taconite
I didn’t even know tacos could be fossilized!

the last time I ate them,
I don't know if they were fossilized
when they came into the kitchen,
but they weren't very young
considering the effect they had on me...

Even though I don't yet have my PicoCalc, with the help of someone who has received their PicoCalc over in the UK as well as the ability I programmed in to select an ST7789V display (which I do have) at compile time as well as a keyboard emulator I wrote I have largely gotten my PicoCalc drivers and terminal emulator for zeptoforth working!

**So far mostly digital pickles though

I have written a text-only terminal emulator for zeptoforth on the PicoCalc for those who may think that the graphical terminal emulator uses far too much RAM with its huge framebuffer, and it works in my local test setup (even though I have yet to get confirmation that it works on the PicoCalc itself).

I have gotten confirmation that the new text-only terminal emulator does work on the PicoCalc!

zeptoforth 1.13.2 is out! This release adopts the new USB VID:PID (no, I didn't shell out thousands of dollars to the USB-IF, it's long story) for the USB CDC console, adds online help to zeptoed, and fixes bugs in FAT32 and flushing the USB CDC console.

I got a bill I had been expecting for a while, and it turned out to be a good deal lower than I had expected it to be. That means I'm in a somewhat better financial situation than I thought I would be.

I've finished something I wanted to finish for a while. I can't comment on what it is for now. Unfortunately, it's not the thing I talked about a few months ago.
