Re: "somewhere" vs. "someplace"

Nobody yet has mentioned "somewhat" as a rather daffy alternative to "something".

The Chancellor can say what he likes. It'll all be rendered irrelevant when we leave the EU without a deal anyway.

Re: Star Maps

(stuff) Thanks--that actually sounds like it would work nicely, perhaps with some manual tweaking to get some specific constellations along the ecliptic ("zodiac," if you will). It wouldn't be too difficult to do as an online application. Perhaps somebody with more energy and knowledge th...

I'm pretty programming-illiterate, but I'd still be interested in hearing it, see if I could figure it out. OK. To g...

Re: British Politics Guide

Lots of cleavage, eh Sal? Seriously, posts like yours are why I said the new ZBB needs you. I learn something new every time. As for senile dementia, I was of course speaking metaphorically. I wonder what someone from, say, 1950 (when the Conservatives had a majority share of the vote in Scotland) w...

Re: British Politics Guide

To what extent would the members of the ZBB agree with the proposition that the United Kingdom is now entering a (probably terminal) state of senile dementia? We have a Government which is seemingly incapable of governing, an Opposition which seems unwilling to oppose, and fanatics driving the polit...
