Re: AI in conlanging - present and future
such a quantity of words is irrelevant,
even if generative artificial "intelligences"
try to replace the qualitative by the quantitative,
but all they produce is barroom talk with an erudite dummy...

you just have to accept that with an ai,
you're only talking to yourself in a library...
but there are worse people to talk to, and worse places...

Re: AI in conlanging - present and future
generative artificial intelligences are pretty interfaces for accessing knowledge that are nicer than google keywords, but so little... the only thing they bring is that users put their feelings into them to see a human person... anthropomorphism is natural to us... it's their statistical power that...

Re: The perception of rhythm in language
in writing, the spaces between words are enough to produce the self-segmentation of the language flow... unless you import natural languages, it's hard to imagine how ambiguities can be avoided, and whether they would paralyze the transmission of meaning... conlangs, which are mostly silent language...

Re: AI in conlanging - present and future
there is no advantage to using an ia except in a commercial context where the result prevails (and its value in hard cash...), when the path is more important than the goal its advantage becomes null... this is particularly true in conlanging, where the activity is perfectly free, totally immaterial...

Re: "Experiencer"
naturalistic conlanging is the most shared activity, with everyone trying to convince in their everyday speech by using new forms to strike a chord, or by repeating the new forms they've heard to get behind this or that new way of seeing the world, or rather their way of understanding it, and in so ...

Re: "Experiencer"
Well, natural languages are nothing more than conlangs reworked by a very large number of fans, the vast majority of whom are not linguists.... rather than trying to simulate the innumerable alterations that make up this varnish we call naturalism, by using linguistics in reverse, I prefer to avoid ...

rather than a combination of elements found in such knowledge, as a generative artificial intelligence could do, personally to build I flee from naturalism and linguistics... but the truth is, even if you look hard enough, you find that you always end up back on the path marked out by natural langua...

Re: Do you think it will ever be possible to go back in time?
some conlang words can open a door,
through time, and space,
but often between different dimensions...
but I prefer the superposition of a new layer on my own,
which shifts my vision of this world...

Re: The problem of "finding the right word"?
as for sound, in 3SDeductiveLanguage(1Sense=1Sign=1Sound)
the absence of double articulation means I have no latitude...
It's more a matter of discovering the language,
that builds itself up before me than choosing how it sounds...
