Noted. Though I'm rethinking my intentions to use CT again—I might use one of the other empires' languages.

I’ll probably have to use Proto–Savanna again, though I’d like to reserve the right to use something else if I get around to making another usable conlang by the time my turn comes around.
Conlangs: Scratchpad | Texts | antilanguage
Software: See http://bradrn.com/projects.html
Other: Ergativity for Novices

(Why does phpBB not let me add >5 links here?)

I'd like to give it a try if I may--I messed up last time, I'm not going to mess up again. (For one, I think this time I'd stick to Classical Salvian instead of Booladjirra.)
My name means either "person who trumpets minor points of learning" or "maker of words." That fact that it means the latter in Sindarin is a demonstration of the former. Beware.

The question may have been asked before, but is that con-Australian?

One of them, anyway! I have four: Booladjirra, Arrahng, Warruk, and Proto-Theryke.

That’s fine; depending on how things shake out, I may employ a language besides CT myself. But we will see.

Hi all! I should have the starter text ready by next weekend (the 7th/8th), hopefully sooner. I'm trying to get Modern Gothic into at least a workable beta status; if I'm not able to by then, I'll just go with Transemilian. Hope this is OK and sorry for the delay!

I'm sorry, I'm having major computer trouble, I'm not going to be able to start us off after all. If you put me later in the rotation, I should have things fixed by the time it's my turn, and I'll hold my starter text for relay #3. Sorry again

I have identified a possible source for a seed text and will be translating something from it hopefully this weekend.

Better reschedule me for later as well. I might not be able to complete the torch in the coming few weeks.

I have identified a sample text. I will try to have it translated sometime this weekend.

Those were overly optimistic aims, it seems. I have transcribed the passage in a GDoc, though, so with a couple hours’ work it should be good to go tonight.

Translation has been completed; now I just have to make the appendix and then I can send this to whomever.
