Akiatu:

wutamwi, a central post in a building. (I'm currently imagining something a bit like Samoan fale, structurally speaking, though I have to make some decisions about technology and social structure before I'll be sure.)

My name means either "person who trumpets minor points of learning" or "maker of words." That fact that it means the latter in Sindarin is a demonstration of the former. Beware.

Poswa:
pupu poor, uneducated; common, commoner .... this word is etymologically "(insect) flying eyes" because when visiting a major city, the eyes of the poor, rural Poswobs move rapidly from one object to another, curious as to what the objects they see might be.

Pobe pupu pannafaba.
The kids are singing rustic (songs).

Pabappa:
pompoda chronically hungry, starving; poor .... I cant dissect the etymology I have for this one, but it looks like I was going for something along the lines of someone who eats unusual foods, the implication being that they have no choice but to take what they can find wherever they go. The literal morpheme breakdown looks like it means someone who grasps flowerbuds bunches at a time, but my etymologies often seem opaque even to me because I don't index what each word meant as it evolved, I only give the meanings in the proto-language.
