My name means either "person who trumpets minor points of learning" or "maker of words." That fact that it means the latter in Sindarin is a demonstration of the former. Beware.

Re: Lexicon Building
asawi: nearby, at a short distance. It can just be an adverb:
More commonly, it modifies a preposition phrase:
(That doesn't cover inseparably close, for which you'd probably use ikau a X cira right at X's side, but that's not a single word and anyway I didn't just make it up.)
Next: (to be) in water

Re: Lexicon Building
Poswa: pummamu, "to pull someone to a stop with the hands; to arrest"
Wappata pipebap pummabebel, wa pypiap pubbebel.
The officer arrested the thief, and bound his hands.
The word for officer is literally "night sky person", because they are out at night and most other people arent. The word for night, wappaša, is derived from this word as well.
Pabappa:
pensa "to block crime"
As usual with me, Pabappa gets the 2nd best words, as I havent put as much thought into them. This word collides with a word for "lens, glass filter" and I'm not sure which, if either, I will decide to change. But if I keep this one it's
Pisapta pol penibap pensobi, wa pobopip tibalabi.
The officer arrested the thief, and bound his hands.

Re: Lexicon Building
First, two adjectives (of which Akiatu has about 15):
uñu: white, light-coloured, clear (of eyesight or weather)
sakija: red, bright
Directions:
uñuta: east (the direction of sunrise in this world too)
sakijata: west
Events / times:
tiwana uñu: sunrise
tiwana sakija: sunset
(tiwana is sun, adjectives follow the noun.)
Next: current (in air or water); way (to get somewhere or do something); method
