Re: How to intentionally incorporate SAE features.

Some(but probably not all) more distinctively are particle comparative with the use of inflected comparat...

Re: Iqę́hhǫ the language (noun phrases intro)

not bad so far. however, I have one minor opinion related to the terminology: I think the "neuter" gender in your language would be called "masculine" if it were other languages, as male people and animals would belong to your "neuter" gender. but this is just my opinio...

phonological change, which can make originally separated affixes fuse together, becoming a single affix I think that that plus levelling and expanding by analogy are how most fusional paradigms formed. ok (: you are right, these happen, the cause can be phonological(i.e. merge or elision of sounds)...

Another factor for fusional languages, I think, is phonological change, which can make originally separated affixes fuse together, becoming a single affix, but this is my own opinion, I can be wrong.

You are right, it is likely that 的 has never been a pronoun, but I think it might lost the meaning as a pronoun in some intermediate stages, maybe I should clarify my words Also some other languages do also use pronouns directly for possessions: https://wals.info/chapter/24 The Tiwi example is like ...

Idiom Building

We already have a thread for building proverbs; however, despite of the similarities, proverbs are not idioms, and idioms are not proverbs, and I think we should also have a thread for building idioms, or euphemistic way to describe something unpleasant(e.g. death). Rules: a person provides an idiom...
